On January 15th, 1919, a horrifying disaster struck Boston's North End. A massive reservoir containing approximately 2 million gallons of molasses burst. The sticky liquid surged through the streets like a tsunami, obliterating everything in its path. Hundreds of people were killed, and many more were injured. Buildings were reduced to rubble, and
